The history of curing. Curling was named "Roarin Game" because of the noise the granite stone travels over the ice. In 1530-1569 people played the game in frozen ponds. There was evidence that John McQuhin from Latin recorded a book on curling.
The rules of curling are you need a curling sheet. The teams throw 2 stones each the curling sheet, with the players on each side alternating shots. After sixteen stones there will hopefully be a winner. The winner is the team with the highest score after the teams have thrown 16 stones. There is up to 8players in a team. The game time is 73 minutes. Each team player gets 60 seconds to throw the stone. 10 minutes per team. If there is a tie then a team player has 60 seconds to throw a stone and the winner then wins the game.
The equipment that you need for curling is a curling sheet, curling stone, curling broom, curling shoes.
Curling was first invented in Scotland in February of 1541.
Curling is quite an expensive sport. All of the equipment can cost you more than $1000.00 in total. The curling granite stones cost at least $600.00 or more and weigh at least 26 kilos.
